Cantillon Saint Lamvinus 7,5° 75cl
Merlot and Cabernet Franc grapes macerated in two-year-old lambic. The grape sugar pushes the ABV higher than Cantillon's usual range, and the tannins add a structure you don't get from the fruit-only versions. This sits somewhere between a funky wine and a lambic, without fully committing to either — which is exactly the point.
Dark fruit, leather, subtle oak, Cantillon's signature tartness underneath it all. Works well alongside food in a way that the Gueuze doesn't always. Wine-curious people tend to get it immediately.
