Pisco gets overshadowed by its cocktail. The Pisco Sour is great, yes — but the spirit itself deserves attention. Barsol Quebranta uses the Quebranta grape, a non-aromatic variety that lets the distillation do the talking: fresh grape, light mineral, clean and precise.

About as good an introduction to Peruvian pisco as you'll find at this price. Make the Sour at least once. Then try it neat.
